Digital Delivery Policy

Last updated: 9 March 2026

This Digital Delivery Policy governs the delivery of all digital products made available for purchase through The Legal Drafting Bureau website.

1. Digital Products Only

All products sold through the website are digital products only.

No physical goods are shipped, delivered by courier, or otherwise sent in hard copy form unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.

2. Method of Delivery

Digital products are delivered electronically.

Subject to successful payment, access to the purchased file is generally made available by download through the website, order confirmation page, email, or other electronic delivery method designated by the Bureau or the website platform.

3. Delivery Timing

Where a template is listed as available on the website, delivery is generally immediate upon successful completion of purchase and payment confirmation.

Where a product is not yet uploaded or is being finalized, the applicable product page, correspondence, or custom arrangement may specify an estimated preparation and upload timeframe. Any such timeframe is an estimate unless expressly confirmed otherwise in writing.

4. Customer Responsibility

The purchaser is solely responsible for:
• entering a correct email address;
• ensuring access to the relevant account, inbox, and download interface;
• checking spam, junk, promotions, and other email folders where relevant;
• maintaining appropriate software capable of opening the delivered file format; and
• downloading and securely storing the product after delivery.

The Bureau shall not be responsible for delivery issues arising from incorrect contact details, inaccessible email accounts, incompatible devices, or the purchaser’s own technical environment.

5. File Formats

Templates and other digital products are supplied in the format stated on the relevant product page.

Unless otherwise stated, the Bureau does not guarantee compatibility with every device, software version, or third-party editing platform.

6. Download Issues

If a purchaser is unable to access or download a purchased digital product due solely to a technical issue attributable to the website or delivery mechanism, the purchaser may contact the Bureau for reasonable assistance.

Reasonable assistance may include reissuing the file, resending the download link, or providing an alternative electronic delivery method at the Bureau’s discretion.

7. No Transfer of Ownership

Purchase of a digital product grants the purchaser a limited right to use the purchased document in accordance with the applicable Terms of Service, Template License, and any product-specific restrictions.

Purchase does not transfer intellectual property ownership in the product.

8. No Physical Fulfilment Obligations

Because products are digital only, references on the website platform to shipping, dispatch, fulfilment, or delivery timelines shall, where applicable, be interpreted accordingly and do not create any obligation on the Bureau to provide physical shipment.

9. Refunds in Relation to Digital Delivery

Because digital products are capable of immediate access and download, refunds are generally not available once delivery has been made, except:
• where the product cannot be accessed or downloaded due to a verified technical issue attributable to the Bureau or its delivery system;
• where a duplicate payment has occurred; or
• where otherwise required by applicable law.

All refund matters remain subject to the website Refund Policy.

10. Purchaser Review Before Use

It is the purchaser’s responsibility to review the downloaded product before use, circulation, amendment, or signature. Delivery of the file does not constitute confirmation that the product is suitable for the purchaser’s specific transaction, facts, or jurisdiction.

11. Amendments to this Policy

The Bureau may amend this Digital Delivery Policy at any time by publishing the updated version on the website. The version in force at the time of purchase shall apply unless otherwise stated.
